Jasmine Mistplume is a 12 year old Blue Jay/Panther Gryphon. Her parents were Talons, and they raised her on tales of excitement and adventure and would often tell her stories about contracts they had been on. When Jasmine was about 10 years old, they went out on another one of their contracts, but were caught by surprise and overwhelmed, leaving her an orphan. She didnt have anywhere else to go, so she ended up wandering the wasteland, doing odd jobs wherever she could to keep herself going, as well as scavenging when she didnt have any jobs. One day while scavenging, she found a copy of a Daring Do book that wasn't entirely ruined, and she took to reading. It reminded her of the stories her parents used to tell her, and that made her almost instantly fall in love with it. She went on like this for about a year before she got trapped by a bunch of slavers, and ended up with a slave collar around her neck. She became a slave, but she was able to hide away her Daring Do book while she was being captured, so whenever she gets a chance while the slavers arent looking, she likes to take out the book and read it. It gives her hope, and inspires her to keep on going, no matter how tough it is, and she hopes that one day, she will be able to escape and do heroic things for the good of Equestria.
